  • cups yellow cornmeal
  • 1 teaspoon aniseeds
  • ½ teasp

Method

  1. In a saucepan, combine ingredients included in A and cook over moderate heat, stirring constantly with a wooden spoon, until mixture boils and separates from bottom and sides of saucepan.
  2. Pour immediately into a round 6 x 3-inch fluted or plain aluminum pan and when thoroughly cool, turn onto serving platter.
