New Feature: Nutrition information on all recipes

We know that healthy eating and nutrition is an important consideration for many users of ckbk, and so we are very pleased to announce major new features, developed in partnership with leading nutrition data provider Edamam, which make nutrition information available across ckbk's full collection of 175,000+ cookbook recipes.

These new features are available right now on the ckbk website, and will be available in the ckbk iOS app and Android app in the coming days.

Nutritional information on every recipe

Macronutrient info (including carbohydrate, fat, protein and calories) is now available for recipes on ckbk, courtesy of ckbk’s specialist nutrition partner, Edamam)

Just click on the ‘Nutrition’ heading beneath the ingredient list to pull up a nutritional summary (per serving) for the recipe.

An expanded range of dietary search filters

Alongside the existing vegan, vegetarian, pescetarian and gluten-free options, you can now also filter to find low calorie, low carb, high protein or keto options. Just use the Diet pulldown filter which appears on the search results page.

What’s more, if you only want to find recipes matching certain dietary preferences, or if you prefer recipes meeting particular dietary criteria and want to see those first on your results list, you can now set these defaults in your ckbk user settings.
