Cooking with vodka

Not just for drinking, vodka has a variety of interesting culinary uses largely relying on the way it effects the cooking process. Add it to pasta sauce, use it to lighten tempura batter, make infused syrups with it or use it to add a kick (and a softer texture) to sorbets.
