James Murphy

James Murphy is best known as the founder and frontman of LCD Soundsystem, but his creative instincts have always extended beyond music. A lifelong enthusiast of food and wine, he co-founded The Four Horsemen in Brooklyn, where his passion for natural wine and thoughtful cooking found a home. What began as a musician’s side pursuit has grown into one of New York’s most acclaimed restaurants, receiving a Michelin star for its food and a James Beard Foundation award for its wine list.
