1970s dinner parties à la Robert Carrier

 

Here are my fondest memories of being a new-wife and quickly thereafter a mother in the early 1970s.  Dinner parties twice a week at least and long Sunday lunches. I used the rich shortcrust pastry for all my seasonal fruit pies and tarts.  Carrier's book helped me become a hostess with the mostest!
