OYSTERS: HOW DO YOU OPEN THEM?
For the clumsier ones among us, protect your hands.
- Place your thumb 1 cm from the end of the blade.
- Insert the blade between the two shell halves at the level of the muscle located in the upper two-thirds.
- Cut through the muscle horizontally.
- Lift and remove the upper half-shell without tearing the oyster meat, which must remain whole.
- n°5: 30 to 45 g
- n°4: 46 to 65 g
- n°3: 66 to 85 g
- n°2: 86 to 110 g
- n°1: 111 to 150 g
