World Suitcase of Recipes

Souvenirs and memories from my travels are all around me. I remember struggling back with an over-weight iron tortilla machine, fabrics that I had bartered off certain beaches, and spices and wooden boxes that now hold my ingredients. And always there would be pages of recipes flapping everywhere, flavours and tastes hastily jotted down while sandwiched between rows of people and ingredients at markets. Beautiful spices that I might never use but had to have, and some songs that crocheted all these memories together.
