When I was a girl, we would all sit around the dining room and kitchen, and each person had a momo job—kneading dough, grinding spices, stuffing and pinching the dough. I love momos because making them brings everyone together. Once we finished pinching, we’d steam them and eat all together, still covered in flour. Hot momos are Ayush’s favorite meal, and even though he hasn’t been to Nepal, he associates momos with my family. Hopefully I can take him to Nepal one day, and he’ll be able to
