Another popular Pakistani snack to have with evening tea is chicken patties. They also make for an excellent iftar item. I came across various versions of the recipe and tinkered with them to recreate the taste of nostalgia of the Pakistani bakery walay chicken patties.

Ingredients

  • 250 g Chicken (boneless, boiled and shredded)
  • ½ inch piece of Ginger
  • 2

Method

Boil the chicken with salt, ginger, and garlic. Cool and shred the chicken pieces.

In a pan, heat the butter (on medium heat), add onions to it and fry until they turn pink. Add salt and black pepper. Add the flour and sauté for a few minutes, and then add milk.

Add chicken and mix it. You might need to add more milk in order to achieve the right thick consisten
