For me, a great salad is all about the texture. Of course, I always use the freshest produce possible, since the vegetables are not going to be cooked, but having a variety of textures guarantees that I won’t get bored after a bite or two. In this salad, I use savory granola for crunch, fresh romaine for crispness, and an array of green vegetables for both flavor and structure.
