There is no better way to reconnect with your inner child than spending time in the kitchen making toaster pastries (i.e., Pop-Tarts) and recreating memories. It is better to prepare the banana filling the day before.
In a double boiler over medium heat, melt the chocolate and keep warm until needed.
In a small bowl, mix together the sugar and cornstarch.
In a medium saucepan, bring the milk to a boil over medium heat. Remove from heat and stir in the sugar mixture along with the diced bananas. Return saucepan to the stove and bring to a quick boil while stirring.
