The pan juices from a smoked turkey are too potent to turn into a gravy. Instead, make this spicy and creamy sauce to serve alongside. You do not need to peel the apple before grating it.

Ingredients

Method

Grate the apple flesh coarsely with a handheld grater, avoiding the core. Finely snip the fresh chives until you have about 1 tablespoon.

In a bowl, stir together the horseradish, sour cream, and mayonnaise. Add the grated apple, the snipped chives, and the sugar to the horseradish mixture a
