The smell that fills the kitchen when baking these bread buns is just heavenly, with the wonderful aroma of spices filling the air. I bake them in a muffin tray, so the butter cannot escape during baking, in-steal seeping back into the dough, but they can be left to have their second prove rested upon a lined baking sheet and baked on that if you don’t have one.
