I love making grissini, as do the kids. We can happily sit for an hour or two, lots of different spices, herbs and pastes laid out before us. A sprinkling here, a pinch there, some left plain. Some will be spread with olive pastes and twisted into ropes, some will be rolled, some are left flat. There are no rules and that’s why the kids enjoy it so much – nothing can go wrong.
