This noodle dish feels almost too simple to be included in this book, and I’m not even sure it qualifies as a recipe. But I must share it because the minimal ingredients combine to create a flavor that is surprisingly delicious. Cheese, eggs, and noodles—what’s not to love?

  • 1 serving instant noodles with seasoning packet
  • 1 large egg
  • 2 slices cheddar cheese
