Scotch Pie

The Scotch pie – affectionately known in Scotland as a pie – has roots going back more than five hundred years. It is probably best known for its popularity on a Saturday afternoon at football matches around the country. You can totally understand why it works: it can be eaten one-handed and it can also fit into your pocket – very handy, especially when you need to get back to your seat with a hot cup of Bovril. Incidentally, this is also a Scottish invention, originating with a butcher cal
