Shorwa is a thin, translucent soup filled with meat and vegetables, making it an ideal lunchtime staple in Afghanistan, due to the protein and nutrients it provides. Traditionally, shorwa is eaten with torn pieces of naan bread dropped into it to soak up the flavours of the broth.
This shorwa is made using a pressure cooker for deliciously tender meat and vegetables.
