These pancakes are smooth on one side, bubbly on the other and they melt in the mouth. Dripping with honey or drenched in sugar, they are often served for breakfast on cool, winter mornings in Morocco. They are also popular as a sweet snack in the streets. At home they are wonderful served with strawberry jam or, like blinis, with smoked salmon and sour cream.
