Warm Kale and Butternut Squash Salad

Now, I know that the word warm is not what y’all think of when you think of salads, but this salad is my twisted way of enjoyin’ one of my favorite fall-harvest foods, butternut squash. We grew all kinds of squash on the farm, storin’ them through the winter to make ever’thing from pies to breads, side dishes, and main courses. Once y’all taste the comfortin’, fall flavors of this warm salad, you’ll be slobberin’ like a dog with a bone.
