So, while the Irish and Americans call it whiskey, Scottish, Canadian and Japanese drinkers call it whisky. The only (but very important) difference between and Irish Coffee and a Gaelic Coffee is where the dram comes from. Make sure that for the Gaelic version you use your favourite Scottish whisky! And always drink through the cream, never stir with a spoon.
