This kunafe is a specialty dessert from Nablus, Palestine. It is served in restaurants or at sweet shops. The mild local cheese, similar to ricotta and mozzarella, should hold its shape when baked — look for cheese labeled as meant for kunafe in Middle Eastern markets.
