Core the apples and peel the top half of each one only. Brush the apples all over with melted butter and roll them in the dried breadcrumbs. Butter a pie dish and stand the apples, skinned side up, in it. Fill the centre hole of each apple with the sultanas, mixed with the grated orange rind. Spoon about a teaspoon of honey over each apple, and add the cider and orange juice to the dish.
