Ingredients

  • 3 ozs. of chopped suet
  • 3 or 4 slices of stale bread soaked in milk

Method

Work the suet to a smooth paste, mix with the bread, previously soaked in milk, the finely chopped figs and all the other ingredients, and mix thoroughly and beat for 20 minutes or longer. Steam for 2½ to 3 hours. Any kind of hot pudding sauce can be served with this, according to taste.
