When I asked Fiona if she’d like to contribute some of her cake recipes from the Café Cùil kitchen, she was mostly delighted. But I must admit she fought hard not to part with this secret recipe of hers!
Cranachan is a traditional Scottish dessert made from raspberries, cream, oats and whisky. It is usually served in a glass and not many people have turned it into a cake before, but Fiona finally cracked it.
So here it is, Fiona’s deliciously light and fluffy cranachan cake.
