Ingredients: 200 ml/7 fl oz/⅞ cup medium sweet cider, left to become flat; 15 ml/1 tbsp sunflower oil; 115 g/4 oz/¾ cup finely chopped green eating apple; 150 g/5 oz/generous 1 cup finely chopped green eating apple; 625 g/1 lb 5 oz/5½ cups seeded white bread flour; 30 ml/2 tbsp skimmed milk powder; 10 ml/2 tsp sugar; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp easy bake dried yeast; 125 g/4½ oz/1 cup finely chopped green eating apple; 525 g/1 lb 3 oz/4¾ cups seeded white bread flour; 30 ml/2 tbsp sunflower oil; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp sugar; 22 ml/1½ tbsp skimmed milk powder; 5 ml/1 tsp easy bake (rapid-rise) dried yeast; 5 ml/1 tsp salt; 320 ml/11½ fl oz/1⅓ cups medium sweet cider, left to become flat; 7.5 ml/1½ tsp salt; 5 ml/1 tsp easy bake dried yeast; 260 ml/9 fl oz/1⅛ cups medium sweet cider, left to become flat; 400 g/14 oz/3½ cups seeded white bread flour; 15 ml/1 tbsp skimmed milk powder (non fat dry milk)

Method

Pour the cider into the bread machine pan. Add the sunflower oil and chopped apple. If the instructions for your machine specify that the yeast is to be placed in the pan first, reverse the order in which you add the liquid and the dry ingredients.
