These nutty little tarts are full of creamy chocolate and are the perfect bite-sized treat for a dinner party. They are so indulgent that it is difficult to stop at only one!

Ingredients

For the cocoa shortcrust pastry

  • 150 g cold, unsalted butter
  • 300 g plain flour

Method

For the pastry, rub the cold butter into the flour, sugar and cocoa powder. Once the consistency of breadcrumbs, gradually knead in the water to bring it together into a smooth dough. Let it rest for 30 minutes (in the fridge, if the kitchen is warm), then, with the help of a rolling pin, roll into a 0.5cm thick sheet between two sheets of parchment.

As size doesn’t matter much in this
