Michael James

Michael James was a chef, cookbook author, teacher, and restaurant and hotel consultant. With Billy Cross, he founded the The Great Chefs of France Cooking School at the Robert Mondavi Winery in the Napa Valley of California.He studied in France with Simone Beck and collaborated with her on New Menus from Simca's Cuisine. His magazine pieces appeared in Food & Wine. He died of AIDS in 1993.
